This solar eclipse is the FIRST ONE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF ECLIPSE OF THE SUN OF YEAR 2011.
This one is the most important of the FOURTH SOLAR ECLIPSES which shall take place during year 2011.
This is exceptional and unique.

It will be visible in partial form on three continents:
 
- all the countries of EUROPE, countries in the North of AFRICA and in countries of the MIDDLE EAST
    and the
CAUCASUS.

This ECLIPSE OF THE SUN will be visible under partial form on NORTH AFRICA to SCANDINAVIA and will have a duration of more than TWO HOURS.
The obscuration of the SUN will reach 80% on several countries of North of EUROPE and more than 70% in the majority of the countries of CONTINENTAL EUROPE.

The specificity and the peculiarity of this
PARTIAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN are that its observation will require the wearing of SPECIAL GLASSES is NECESSARY to protect EYES during all the duration of the phenomenon.

Solar eclipses, because of their rarity and the spectacle they offer, are all the more fascinating to observe.
